The Role
In my office I was treated like one of the graduate, shown due respect and regarded as one of the team.
Manager was always there for me when I needed guidance.
The 9-5:30 day flew by as I constantly had the right number of tasks to set about doing each day. From time to time I would have to work a few extra hours but no hellish all nighters.
I was placed in charge of some really important financials and forecasting.
I recieved a very good grounding in project mangement eg Finances, Resource allocation etc. Furthermore I was also given the oppurtunity to partake in an NVQ in management.
The Company
Everyone was very motivated and got on really well. We had a number of evening activities ranging from a night out to go karting. This helped pull the team together.
Very Well Organised, we were in constant contact with an HR rep who organised drink or another fun activity every 3-4 weeks. If there were any issues you know you could always speak to her.
We had the oppurtunity to work on a NVQ in mangement and partake in other trainings activities if we so wished. It was a great oppurtunity to expand your knowledge.
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
I have a job with them but I will not be taking it, on two grounds although I have had a valuable time, I felt that there wasnt enough likeminded indivduals in the company furthermore it was little things like being paid less by £80 because our contract finished on the 27th as opposed to the end of the month.
The Culture
A number of events were set up for us in London although I was based down in Portsmouth.
All expenses were paid for, I had my hotel room paid for, my mealls paid for and my travel paid for. Cheap as Chip! :)
In Portsmouth we had one big night, Tiger Tiger Thursdays and it was banging.
5 a side football, Golf, bowling, real tennis, snooker pool, swimming to name a few.
