Overview
Responsible for coordinating and facilitating weekly final stage interviews, holding feedback meetings and collating and publishing candidate results.
Skills
I have learned how to be more confident when using various different platforms and programmes such as Microsoft Excel, Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc.
Responsibilities
Absolutely, really are part of the team here at FDM (feels like not even a placement student). Lots of responsibility given pretty much straight away - meeting tight deadlines etc.
Support & Guidance
Have been given lots of support and guidance from my team and manager as well as wider teams in other regions. This has been available due to remote working whilst going through the pandemic.
Culture
Everyone is really helpful and friendly. Culture seems good but due to pandemic unfortunately not been able to fully immersive in to team night out etc.
Your Impressions
I have enjoyed my placement and loved getting to meet lots of new people and build friendships.
Yes
Be ready to get stuck in and work hard, you will have lots of opportunities to develop. Don't be afraid to speak up and get involved.
