Responsibilities
I was continuously given responsibility and pushed outside my comfort zone. However, this has made me a more competent and confident employee who has developed a growth mindset and looks upon challenges as opportunities instead of previous road blocks.
Support & Guidance
I continuously had the support of the previous intern and a team of colleagues who I had developed a network off whilst working virtually. I found that everyone is really helpful and understands your position of entering a new environment and the learning process that goes into this.
Culture
Even working virtually everyone felt like a valued member of a close knit team. I couldn't have asked for a better working environment!
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my experience completely. It pushed me from a state of a university student to someone who feels confident and capable in entering the working word. I have gained new skills from live projects, learning badges and teamwork within my role. There were times I felt challenged and stuck. However, the support and fulfilment I received from overcoming these challenges is something that has ignited my passion within the business realm.
