Overview
-Sit within daily management meetings to gain more of an insight into management and daily practices of the department. -Assist with answering customer queries on eBay. -Responsible for ordering customer Owner Manuals when requested. -Took part in the onboarding of the Aures Project - helping to purchase used cars back into the network. -Took part in UX300e extended hours project. -Completed a PDCA project on enhancing eBay case management. -Organised company wide charity events.
Skills
Received training modules on the following areas developing my knowledge of the areas: -Toyota Talks: Developing skills on getting what's required from workplace conversations. -GDPR and safeguarding training. -Breakthrough thinkers: Developing my ability to innovate and 'think outside the box'. -Beyond Zero training: Developed my knowledge of company ethos and electrification. -Department spotlight sessions: Developed my knowledge of other departments within the business.. -Presentation skills. -Communication Skills. -Teamwork -Leadership

Support & Guidance
Regular 121 meetings with both my line manager and the graduates within the department to assess my development, both very keen to assist. HR team and other departments easy to reach out to for cross departmental developments. Provided with mentors for PDCA projects. Daily management meetings were very supportive of my work/projects offering help wherever possible.
Culture
The company's culture is to drive innovation and encourage it's employees to take part in 'Genchi' (Continuous Improvement). -Countdown to Christmas event (Daily Quiz's, Raffles, Bingo...) -Sports and Society memberships -Charity events (CSR ran events, Children in Need) -Olympic events as Toyota are sponsors (Q+A's with athletes) -Away days -When not working there is a lot of social activities (20+ Students)
Your Impressions
I have loved the placement, I am slightly disappointed I did not get to get the full experience due to COVID however the company has done their upmost to make this an enjoyable year.
