The Role
The people were great to work with!!!!
The team really appreciated the work i completed
They helped when necessary, didn't need too much support, but was always available
Workload fluttered up and down depending largely on the time of year.
Depended on which tasks i was completing
A lot of the skills i have learn't will assist with courseworks and presentarions, the sector I worked in was very specific, so depending on which career path I take, not necessarily all this knowledge will be to specific
The Company
Plenty of students, the permenant staff are a good laugh too.
The team i worked in needed my assistance, so a lot of work was setup with me in mind, there perhaps could have been more training.
Not massive amounts of training, but they have involved me almost all of the time, where necessary, which has helped me to develop myself.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
I would be returning back to Xerox, if there wasn't a global recession, which has put pressure on Xerox, and resulted with an external recruitment freeze for the near future
The Culture
Over 90 students work in the UK for Xerox, 60+ on my site, so there is always something going on, football, birthdays and nights out.
I commuted, but know the cost was fairly excessive compared to some university areas, socialising isn't too bad, as there is a university located nearby, and only a short commute into London
Uxbridge & London, London has endless nightlife
Students organise football regularly
