Overview
Each day we attended various talks from a businessperson from each division of the bank, covering Global Banking, Global Markets, IBCOO, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Group Functions and Group Operations over the 5 days.
Skills
I learnt more about what each division involves as well as received in depth analysis via case study examples of work that is expected in each role. We had a dedicated learning session that also helped.
Business Insight
It was very overwhelming but it definitely helped to break down the investment bank and other divisions that are otherwise very complicated to work your head around. It was very insightful to be able to see the differences in sectors and especially hearing it from people from all levels really helped.
Culture
The company culture came through more than excellently through the virtual work experience. It seems like such a friendly company to work in where everyone is so willing to help you learn more evident via the friendliness upon asking questions!
Your Impressions
The virtual experience was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever been to, it was informative, inclusive, had lots of opportunities to ask questions and network and it went above and beyond my expectations.
