    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role is reviewing companies records for the Financial Crime team and analysing whether the review's red flags are plausible for the specific customer and to investigate/escalate these further if there is no further explanation.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Yes I have learnt a lot of analytical and critical thinking skills as these are essential in my line of work to be able to efficiently work through cases. I have also gained a high level of organisational skills due to the amount of workload i have had to deal with, and also having a number of cases on the go at one time, up to 20 cases in one time at one point.

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
