Overview
My role is really varied. I analyse customer consumption on a monthly basis, I investigate any consumption issues to determine the cause, I have helped develop applications and I have set up a number of volunteering projects.
Skills
I have developed my analytical, technology, and presenting skills. I have also become better at using Excel and Powerpoint as well as networking.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of responsibility. I got to take on an and lead an ongoing external project and I always felt trusted and managed my own time and work load.
Support & Guidance
I got support from my manager, mentors, buddy and our intern lead and the interns
Culture
I only know what the virtual atmosphere was like which at times felt a bit isolated and hard to bond with people. However, we had team and intern weekly social calls which helped and I made some great connections
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the experience, despite it being virtual, we all still managed to make the most of it and I am really glad to have been an Oracle intern
