Overview
Day to day basis involves supporting the global finance group by consolidating customer-level details to a higher-level of summary detail. Also included assisting with operations out of Greater Europe, including exposure to regulatory behaviour and journal entries/consolidation
Skills
Really developed microsoft and overall technical skills. Role gives a good scope for leading projects and really working with international colleagues which I appreciated. Also helped me to develop my communication skills
Responsibilities
You get given as much responsibility as you can handle since there are definitive busy and quieter weeks. So you can begin projects, lead tasks and handle your own weight beyond month-end and reporting times of the month.
Support & Guidance
Fair amount of support, all colleagues were super friendly and supportive through working from home. Really helps you to flourish into a key member of your team
Culture
Friendly! You could message anyone and get a nice response and a positive experience from working with others.
Your Impressions
While I was working from home, I got the most out of the opportunities I was given. I helped with a charity week at the company, led numerous new projects and spent time to look into possible ways for processes to go through within the team
Yes
Be yourself, as they look for a team player rather than the smartest person in the room. Be willing to learn a lot as the finance function is massive at the company, so be open minded
