The Role
I enjoy working and I was given real work
My team would ask my opinion and suggestions on projects, they always appreciated me for my work and made me realise that I am making a difference by being there in the team
My mentor and manger was always there to explain me things, no matter how many times I asked them, they were always there to guide and support me
as i was handling my own projects so got a good room to work and to enjoy a break. kept a good balance and learnt time management
I was handling 4 very important projects that's how much responsibility I had.
learnt a lot of new skills which will surely be helpful for my career
The Company
Shouldn't call it fun as we are doing serious business. everyone around was really helpful, friendly and people who will make you feel that you are a part of them.
everything was very well communicated
company organised skill development sessions for interns, 1:1 with mentors and mangers provided really good feedback.
Again I would say it's a charity and I as an intern to a charity did not expect any perks anyway. we were here to make a difference and to contribute to the cause. It was an expenses paid internship which is GREAT. Job oppertunities are there as well as competition.
The Culture
Had many social hang outs with fellow intrens and mentor
Couple of nice places to go and socialise and were not so expensive
as busy as the day
Loads of volunteering oppertunities
