Overview
The marketing insights' role consisted of monitoring market trends and pricing across all key categories, including retailer selling prices and competitor pricing. Another critical responsibility of the insight’s role is providing the brand managers with the sales tracker of each brand. This responsibility is essential as it demonstrates the performance of each brand in comparison to the previous years. I also supported the brand managers with building presentations for the sales teams across all business units.

Responsibilities
During my placement I was able to get involved in a variety of projects which allowed me to complete projects in different areas within the Marketing department.
Support & Guidance
During my placement I received very good guidance and support from my manager and the HR team of the organisation. The provided all of the training as well as any guidance to any issues that I had while I was working at Stanley Black and Decker.
Culture
This was my first time working in an office-based role. The employees at Stanley Black and Decker are welcoming and really helpful. Every week my manager scheduled a call with me to check if everything is ok in terms of work.
Your Impressions
While I was working at Stanley Black and Decker I enjoyed interacting with other employees as well learning new Marketing software's which would be beneficial for my career. I also enjoyed the creativity aspect of the role as I was able to create promotional presentations and sales presentations.
