    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • On a day to day, I process multiple orders from customers using the programme SAP, Excel and Winshuttle. I will also have customer calls were we discuss stock level, issues and efficiencies relating to stock. I will also work on projects to improve efficiencies within Supply Chain including Key Performance Indicators.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility which was amazing which really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I looked after many customers and in the 2nd half of internship I was given more customers to look after. You are able to communicate and start projects if you have a great idea which you can lead and this can be with senior management.

  • The company culture is very sociable with a few online socials being really fun. People are very easy to talk to and I feel as though you can reach out to many people who would be happy to help.
