Overview
The role consists of both structured cyclical work and also of the ad hoc nature including: - Budget & Forecasting for SAP UKI - Business analytics - Management accounting - Reporting for Key stakeholders including CFO and MD
Skills
I have developed multiple skills whilst at SAP: - Analytical skills - Presentation skills - Project management - Networking skills - Excel skills - SAP systems such as BWP, ISP, ARIBA etc
Responsibilities
Since starting the internship I was handed a large amount of responsibility from the intern prior. As I have developed through out the year I have been able to take on more and more responsibility including providing reporting on a quarterly basis to the c-suite of SAP UKI, developing an Accounts Receivable dashboard that I have now gone onto introduce to the wider European finance community within SAP as best practice.
Support & Guidance
Throughout my placement I have received incredible support, be it from my direct team, my manager who I am in daily contact with, the CFO and the SAP UK placements team. Considering we have done this placement through the covid pandemic the support has been of consistency and high quality.
Culture
All though the large majority of my placement has been of a virtual format, the culture of SAP was clear to see through out. That is one of togetherness, creativity, opportunity and diversity.
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed my time at SAP and would recommend the placement scheme to anyone who is interested.
