Overview
Working in the UK & Ireland Client Development team I worked closely with both marketing and Sales. I have conducted reports, analysed data, worked across regions to align best practice and much more. I have made client marketing videos, helped prep for Business Reviews with clients, co-managed a brand new internal global initiative and worked across signs of business.
Skills
Yes, I completed courses on Excel, PR and Conversations of Value. Additionally, working from home has developed my virtual networking and communications skills, as well as communicating to all level of employee. I have co-managed teams as well as being part of them and believe my digital literacy has excelled.
Responsibilities
Yes, I co-managed a brand new project which then went on to be a global success. I have bene given lots of responsibility, being treated as a full employee and not just 'an intern'.
Support & Guidance
I had both a manager and a buddy for my team, additionally, I had a placement team offering more support. I was never un-supported for anything.
Culture
Everyone is very welcoming, from my team to wider lines of business and there is always someone to talk to for anything. It is a great culture with many opportunities and a great D&I programme.
Your Impressions
I loved every part of it. Considering it was hard to run a placement programme during a global pandemic SAP have tried their hardest to. make it a great experience and they have succeeded.
Yes
Just be yourself. If you want to work hard and succeed SAP will give you a platform to do so, with so many opportunities to expand your career and personal development you would be hard pressed to find a better place to do your placement. Make sure to include a cover letter and be confident in your own abilities, additionally, ask questions as you want to make sure SAP is the right place for you.
