Overview
My role involved helping the planners with their projects and reports. On a more administritive side of things, I had daily and weekly reports to do, keeping the offices and other areas according to 5S standards and communicating with people from various departments
Skills
I feel like I've become more independent and more responsible, since I participated in various projects through the course of my internship. I have also learned a lot of different software and methods they usually use. I also feel like my communications skills have improved since I speak with people on a daily basis Additionally my knowledge in automotive engineering has improved a lot
Responsibilities
I believe so, since the company reduced the number of interns per department, there has been more workload for me that is usually divided for 2 interns
Support & Guidance
The people from my and other departments were very helpful when it came to asking for support with the projects or just simple questions. They were easily reachable any time by Skype or Teams. Though there were the odd people that didn't really care much, but I guess it's normal in these types of working environments
Culture
It is a big plant where I worked in, and people were just focused on their work. Everything seems to be organized and professional
Your Impressions
Being able to participate in various projects was my favorite part of the internship and to explore all the different departments and meeting new people as well. My least favorite aspect of the internship was doing the daily and weekly reports, though it was necessary!
