Overview
We had a number of presentations each day from across the firm and its teams. We also did a group project which we worked on for most of the week.
Skills
I developed my communication and team-working skills. I also improved my knowledge of the firm. I think due to it being virtual there was less of a chance to practise/learn new things. We did not get assigned to a department and we did not complete “real” work.
Business Insight
There was not much transparency around the potential roles such as how many trainees they were going to take especially for the London office.
Culture
Everyone was really friendly and nice! People were warm and willing to answer questions.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the experience overall but unless I get the graduate role it seems like this week will not have helped me develop my skills in a meaningful way for further applications.
Yes
Be enthusiastic about the firm! Everyone really loves the firm so it’s important for you to be as passionate.
