Overview
A hybrid mix of partner and associate-led workshops alongside live work, with the opportunity to get involved and support everything from research, case management through to client meetings and presentations.
Skills
In addition to expanding my legal knowledge, the vacation scheme improved how I considered and evaluated case information. It also improved my understanding of the needs and expectations of clients and the important role trainee solicitors occupy in an active international law firm.
Business Insight
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I learnt a lot about the role of a trainee solicitor and the opportunities BCLP offers them to learn and expand their skillset ahead of qualification. Associates and partners-alike across BCLP were happy to meet vacation schemers to offer insights into their career developments and provide advice about the firm and the wider sector.
Culture
