  • Manage all things related to the product portfolio including product performance analysis, product messaging and enablement. Projects are typically long term - Help to create sales decks - Webinar content - Manage internal website - Create quarterly newsletter - Quarterly product performance KPI analysis - Answer queries about solution offering

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I am now proficient in the Microsoft suite of applications including Teams for remote work. I also know how to use the systems Tableau and Salesforce. Alongside this, my presentation and organization skills have vastly improved. Further my knowledge of B2B and digital marketing has expanded.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given many tasks from different areas of the business and felt I had a crucial role. For example, the product performance KPI's were presented quarterly to our leadership team and gave insight as to where we were positioned against competitors within the EMEA region.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I received lots of support from the team organising the internship but also from my direct team that I reported to. I could ping a message to anyone in the organisation no matter how high up and someone was always happy to answer any questions or provide guidance on projects.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture is very inclusive and you do not get treated any different as an intern. There is lots of opportunity to connect with people in the business and there are often sessions put on to help people come together.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I loved every second of my internship despite it being remote. I have learned so much just within the space of a year and built so many friendships along the way. I wished I had the opportunity to connect with people more face to face as I was working remotely however.

  • Be really authentic and enthusiastic as to why the position is right for you. At SAP they really want someone who can fit into the team, is really eager to bring new ideas, and participate in events.
