Overview
My job entailed supporting two managers across 3 different areas (Industry- CPG & Retail and LOB- Customer Experience). I completed SAP.com website updates and optimisations, social media content creation, planning & launching paid social campaigns, running webinars and much more. The job was varied and amongst routine tasks, there were lots of other opportunities to get involved in.
Skills
I have developed my professional attitude towards work and understood a great deal about the corporate environment. Whilst Marketing specific knowledge and use of relevant tools has been learnt throughout the placement including a Digital Marketing accredited course being taken towards the end of the year. My existing skills such as communication, presenting skills etc... have been developed during the year.
Responsibilities
We are given full responsibility and control over website updates and optimisations, social media content and much more. With the careful guidance of our managers, the role allowed me great responsibility and opportunities.
Support & Guidance
I received a great amount of support and guidance during the year. This began with our July handover period, where the previous intern handed over all existing work and the onboarding programme led completely virtually by the Placements team. This was continued throughout the year by managers and other leads.
Culture
SAP has a GREAT inclusive company culture. The team are fun, always up for a chat and really supportive. I would definitely recommend them as a company to work for.
