Overview
On a day to day basis my role involved providing sales reports to managers to aid in tracking sales performance and to gain/keep operational control.
Skills
Developed team working skills and gained a lot of excel skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, providing reporting is quite a substantial part of running a business.
Support & Guidance
Received some guidance and support, however due to pandemic reasons there was a lot of personal change within the department which caused the support and guidance to be rather minimal at times.
Culture
People were always very friendly. Some go above and beyond to help you if you have issues.
Your Impressions
I think overall it was a very valuable experience. However, the circumstances with the pandemic have made it a tough year, where there was very little enjoyment at times due to the repetitiveness of the role and the limitations to try other things.
