Overview
You work on the complete SDLC in an Agile Scrum team. This includes engineering solutions for modern, planet scale, cloud native products. The day to day role varies; you learn new things everyday!
Skills
I've learn lots of new skills. These include technical, leadership and soft skills. Some technical skills would include: software testing, scaling software, Kubernetes, Java, Groovy, TypeScript, API design and more.
Responsibilities
There is no limit. If you can handle more responsibility, you will be given the opportunity to do so. You are treated like a full-time employee. This means you will have the same access to tools, training and more. For example, handling production deployments, modifying the production pipeline and more.
Support & Guidance
You receive guidance whenever you need it. Everyone is happy to help! Just to emphasise it again everyone is happy to help. You get access to trainings also. You also get study days dedicated to learning something completely new in addition to learning on the job.
Culture
The company culture is amazing! Everyone is just so awesome to speak to.
Your Impressions
I can't put into words how much I enjoyed my placement. I've learnt so much here and worked in an amazing team. You get to work on the same problems as everyone. That's really fun!
