Overview
Learn about and use SAP reports/tools/initiatives to support the team. Work on a range of interesting team projects. Support weekly forecasts to gain sales knowledge on the process of a deal closing, the risks and the requirements to get deals signed. Ensure that key decisions are being executed by taking actions in meetings and following these up with the relevant employees. Data analysis and data presentation using excel and SAP reports.
Skills
I have learnt a lot of new skills such as professional writing, email and reporting skills....excel, forecasting, data analysis/data presentation skills .... and sales skills such as negotiation/influencing etc. I have also greatly developed my organizational, communication and team working skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, definitely given a good amount of responsibility. It was drip fed, so I never felt overwhelmed and could always speak to someone if I wanted more or less work. The responsibility meant I felt like a real part of the business and I could see my work actually being used to make business decisions.
Support & Guidance
Plenty - we were given a whole month of training, and assigned a buddy so there was always someone to speak to and ask questions after training. The support was amazing and there is a very friendly work environment here.
Culture
Friendly, professional, supportive.
Your Impressions
Greatly enjoyed my time with SAP and very grateful for the opportunity
Yes
Be yourself ! Don't try and pretend to be someone you "think" SAP would want. Good character and professionality goes a long way.
