Overview
I attended meetings, informal coffee catch-ups with various staff members , attended livestreams and shadowed an individual in the tax department.
Skills
I have improved my confidence and social skills as I had the opportunity to speak to people in the industry, including high level professions such as partners and directors. I also learnt more about PwC and tax in general.
Business Insight
Staff were very helpful in giving us as much information and advice as possible. We had the opportunity to speak to staff from all levels varying from graduate employees who had been there less than a year to partners and directors. This gave me a wide scope of the opportunities available at PwC.
Culture
Very positive. Staff were very friendly and incorporated a lot of breaks and fun activities into our day (such as yoga, cook along sessions and pictionary) to make the day more enjoyable and help us get to know eachother better.
