Overview
A day on the programme consisted of recruitment events, coffee catch ups with consultants, and shadowing project work of an associate. We would engage in project material, sit in on team meetings, and utilize the intern training material in our spare time.
Skills
Networking, time management, being curious about everything
Business Insight
The business structure was explained in detail and helped me specify my career aspirations in the future. Consulting as a broad career was broken down into a manageable understanding of the different roles and projects people work in.
Culture
The company has a very diverse and inclusive community working in multiple sectors. People networks seemed like a great way to connect with colleagues on a personal level, and the overall company culture of accepting people for who they are is evident.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed learning about Management Consulting and how PwC operates as a firm. There was structure lacking in the daily schedule, but the individual activities themselves were engaging and useful.
