Overview
Attended training courses of the 4 departments within RMS. Spoke to recent graduates, managers, directors and partners on 1 to 1 calls to informally chat to them about their work and get to know PWC and RMS.
Skills
Learnt a lot about actuarial work and PWC. Developed confidence in meeting people online.
Business Insight
Lots of information very quickly but the sessions were very informative and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We heard from lots of people in different levels of seniority which was informative. Was not given much advice on how to progress to the internship however.
Culture
Really friendly, just like how I experienced during application. Everyone was happy to chat and provide advice.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed the programme, I learnt a lot and was able to meet lots of people.
Yes
Be yourself and don't be nervous at the assessment centre. Research your department and show enthusiasm during the group assessment and the individual interview. During the programme show that you are interested and have questioned prepared for the 1 to 1 meetings.
