Overview
I spent 3 days with PwC. My scheme was virtual so they sent us all laptops to work from. I was paired with a graduate employee in Deals along with another intern and she organised coffee chats for us with a wide array of employees within Deals, as well as a few interactive sessions with tasks from different areas within Deals. PwC also put on workshops/presentations/Q&A panels about the firm. We had an organised calendar that was full to the brim.
Skills
I definitely developed my confidence in networking as we were encouraged to reach out to employees and organise coffee chats, and all employees were so open to it.
Business Insight
It was really useful. We were given a really in-depth insight into Deals due to the numerous coffee chats and presentations.
Culture
Really good. Everyone was so open to having chats and giving up their time to help us with our career progression.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it and would definitely apply again if I had to do it all over again.
Yes
Take your time with the app-based psychometric testing as PwC want to see you put the effort in. Prepare for your interview and assessment centre as they want to see a good knowledge of the company. PwC is a very people focused firm and the main thing they want to see is that you're enthusiastic and confident.
