Overview
The scheme consisted of a number of talks from partners and associates from different departments within the firm. We were also given tasks throughout the week which were related to the service departments in the firm. On the middle day of the scheme we did an Assessment Centre as part of an application for a training contract at the firm. On two evenings we took part in socials with our peers and trainee buddies.
Skills
I developed my public speaking skills, and learnt a lot about various legal sectors which I didn’t know before.
Business Insight
Everyone who spoke to us throughout the scheme was friendly and eager to answer any questions we had. This made it easy to get a good feel for the firm, and a thorough understanding of the potential roles available.
Culture
The company culture was friendly and straight-talking. It was not pretentious or stuffy. Everyone I came across was interesting and engaged.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight scheme. I learnt so much, and enjoyed all the talks, tasks and socials.
