Overview
Shadowing managers and associates at the PwC office and helping them out with client tasks.
Skills
Yes - new technology software skills and developed my skills with tax regulations
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a lot of responsibility. It was my job to ensure I had enough work to do and was emailing asking for work.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support. Through the career coach and buddy system there was always staff that you could ask questions to and were always very helpful
Culture
Everyone was lovely and there was a real feel for empowering yourself
Your Impressions
I found my internship very insightful and thoroughly enjoyed networking and meeting members of the team. It was interesting to learn what the employees do on a day-to-day basis.
Yes
Not to be put off by all the different steps that the application takes. It is worth putting in the time and reading about the general goals of PwC and their framework.
