Overview
In the virtual internship experience, I had a placement team in which I work with my line manager. There is also time allocated to work in groups for a Business project and a CSR project. The programme is well structured so there is a schedule to follow on a day-to-day basis.
Skills
I am developing my critical people capabilities, which involves developing skills such as being adaptable and open to change, critical thinking, communication skills and building credibility. I am also continuously honing my teamwork and presentation skills, whilst learning about commercial banking.
Business Insight
It was very well-planned and thus insightful. The induction was very helpful with regards to finding out more about the business and everyone is always willing to have a chat.
Culture
The company culture is good. There is a lot of emphasise on learning, climate and enterprise. The company takes importance in being diverse and inclusive, while also giving back to the community and helping UK businesses thrive.
Your Impressions
It was good and I really appreciate the culture and people here at NatWest.
