Overview
The first six months involved training throughout the various positions within store. This started with learning the ropes as a store assistant, culminating with time spent as an Assistant store manager developing your own leadership style. The final six months included head office time and the task of business critical project work.
Skills
I have developed many skills. These include time management, communication and leadership. The placement provided me with constant exposure and responsibility.
Responsibilities
The level of exposure and responsibility given far exceeded my expectations. It is clear how much the company trusts you from day one when you join the business.
Support & Guidance
I was assigned my own specific mentor. They were fantastic and supported me throughout my placement. I was often provided with feedback and guidance and this has really helped me to develop and learn throughout the course of the year.
Culture
The company culture is very inclusive. You are immediately an integral and valued member of the team and all hard work is rewarded. Both the office team and store teams are incredibly friendly, diverse and welcoming.
Your Impressions
My placement has been the most fulfilling year of my life. I have learnt many lessons and engaged in numerous experiences that I can take with me throughout the rest of my adult life.

If you are not afraid of hard work then this is the placement for you. Whatever you put into the placement year is reciprocated and hard work, passion and integrity are rewarded.
