Overview
Addressing internal support tickets made by employees Supporting desktop operating systems - Windows 10, Linux and Mac OS Supporting on-prem and cloud IT server infrastructure - Windows 2016 and Centos 7 Troubleshooting networking and VPN issues Supporting all employee devices (mobile phones, laptops, desktops) Supporting other internal applications – e.g. Salesforce, Zoom Video Conferencing, office365 Driving the onward enhancement of the Egress IT Infrastructure - by contributing to projectbased work, e.g. the hardware upgrades/migration, rolling out new services
Skills
Yes this role has greatly improved my technical skills, ability to work within a team and with members of a variety of positions within the company. I have had opportunity's to improve my communication skills, this includes presenting and with internal and external users. I was also able to hit all my RIITECH skills to apply for the qualification.
Responsibilities
Yes I was able to take on as much responsibility as I liked. Completing projects on my own and contributing to larger mutli department projects.
Support & Guidance
Egress were great at providing any help I needed as everyone is happy to help. Especially within my team who would fully explain any issues you have.
