Overview
Week 1/3: This week involved 2 days of firm-wide training where all interns were introduced to the wider aspects of working for PwC. The other 3 days were Line of Service training. Weeks 2-3/3: These next 2 weeks were spent on client work. We were each assigned to different client engagements and partook in the daily calls where tasks would be assigned. Throughout the 3 weeks we also had a group project.
Skills
I have learned skills that are required in an Audit and the skills to use PwC's technical systems to aid conducting of an Audit. I have also developed further professional skills which are required when working in client-facing roles.
Business Insight
The 3 weeks gave a great insight into the Audit practice at PwC. It was made very clear to the interns the career path that they could achieve in the future if invited back to a Graduate position within PwC.
Culture
The Company culture at PwC is very supportive. Everyone was eager to answer any questions raised and made the interns feel very welcome. As well as the client work, PwC also showed us the wider element of working which involved charity days and health and wellbeing days. It was great to get an insight into PwC as a whole.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the experience at PwC. It was great to be exposed to so much client work and all the additional aspects of the company. Everyone made me feel so welcome within the firm.
