Overview
Day-to-day I was working on reviews, and shadowing those more senior than myself. More generally, the role involved attending meetings, conducting research and I was also asked to create and deliver a presentation.
Skills
I've learnt how to communicate with clients efficiently, how to conduct research whilst complying with company standards and how to ask insightful questions.
Responsibilities
I was given a moderate amount of responsibility, but I was mostly shadowing and asking questions.
Support & Guidance
I received an overwhelming amount of support from my Buddy, and the team were really friendly and always willing to answer questions.
Culture
The company culture was really positive; there were loads of charity, sustainability, diversity and voluntary initiatives. Due to COVID-19, there weren't any in person social activities, but we had frequent team meetings over Google Meet.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The team was super friendly, the company culture was very professional yet positive and I plan to come back if I can!
Yes
When applying to PwC, really pay attention to their core values. You can bring these up your interview. Also, research your Line of Service and the current news that surrounds it. Again, you can bring this up in the interview but also on your first few days.
