Overview
Overall it's a great experience. The early career team really made our experience as smooth as possible and quite enjoyable. Each week we have 2 placement days in which we got a chance to work with the team. The rest of the week are mainly workshops, speaker series and projects. For projects, we are given two - one about social responsibility and one about the business area we work in.
Skills
- We had opportunities to hear industry insights from prestigious speakers and general training from the couch such as the well-being or confidence sessions. - I learned some interpersonal skills through communication with my team members.
Business Insight
- We got chances to network with grads and interns from different teams and rotations and I think that helps me a lot to know what career pathways I would like to choose in the future.
Culture
THIS IS THE BEST PART OF THIS COMPANY. Everyone is so supportive and helpful from the early career team to your placement team or even random colleagues to network with. People always help me and teach me a lot and get me involved in actual projects. Absolutely love it here.
Your Impressions
It was really rewarding and insightful. Though it's a bit weird to only have two days working remotely with the team each week (feels like I'm getting paid to learn/study instead of work or do a lot to contribute to the company), the company is really doing its best to give us a good experience.
Yes
Talk to as many people as possible to know if this is the right company or division for you! I'm sure you will like here :) please note different teams take different numbers of interns so you might want to choose which division to apply for wisely.
