Overview
I was given numerous tasks during my summer internship, however as it was for a shortened period of time I didn't get as detailed an experience as usual. Some of my jobs included taking notes in meetings, attending meetings and carrying out some general admin work.
Skills
I've learn a lot of new skills and developed my knowledge. One of the main skills I developed was learning how use various types of software.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given lots of responsibility. I felt that I was given plenty work to do that was meaningful and was of use to the organisation.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support during my internship. There was always someone to ask if you had any questions and everyone I worked with were very open and friendly.
Culture
The company culture was great, everyone was really friendly!
Your Impressions
Considering my internship was all online I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. There is no doubt that if I managed to be in the office it would've have enhanced my experience however under the circumstances it was still very enjoyable.
Yes
Go for it! Ask plenty questions and try to have meetings with as many people as possible to grow your network.
