Overview
1 week of induction and training 1.5 weeks of client work - working with a team to perform audit activities. I was involved in the planning stage. Throughout the internship we took part in a group dragons den project - perform research and make growth recommendations to a social enterprise. Judged at the end of the internship
Skills
Learnt how to use PwCs auditing system Learnt how to perform certain aspects of an audit Learnt exactly how the audit process works Introduction to bookkeeping greatly increased online working skills in groups increased awareness of the value of coaching and feedback
Business Insight
Pwc greatly encourage self led learning into whatever areas of the company you are interested in. Other employees always offer their time to speak to you about anything PwC
Culture
Company culture is fantastic. Very supportive and promotes wellbeing. Summer hours policy allows you to have friday afternoon off if you make the hours up elsewhere. All these structures are put in place to support you in producing the highest quality work

Yes
Be very knowledgeable about PwC and their culture. You need to really want to work for PwC and communicate this clearly. Helps to know about the audit industry and how it is changing in modern times.
