Overview
Shadowing my buddies, joining client calls and helping out with simple work. Lots of meeting current PwC employees and various training schemes.
Skills
I have certainly taken on board plenty of new knowledge about PwC and how they operate as a multinational firm, and also how they engage with clients. My skill set has improved in terms of knowledge and application of said knowledge when focusing on the banking and FS industries.
Business Insight
It was very interesting and eye opening for me personally!
Culture
Great atmosphere, everyone I spoke to from AS1 up to Partner was equally friendly, engaged and kind towards me. I never felt like I was wasting anyone's time. Very big push from PwC for D&I and creating a safe, open and fair culture within the company!
Your Impressions
It was great!
Yes
Always be prepared. Make notes, show you're interested in the company. Go on the news and read about current projects. Be yourself! It is a long and drawn out process to get a role at PwC, but so worth it!
