Overview
It was a 3 week internship. The first week was general and audit training. The next two weeks where audit work in a team. This work was real-life and contributed to a client's audit. I also had a summer internship presentation running alongside the final two weeks.
Skills
I didn't have a finance degree, therefore I learn a lot of skills. The training introduced these concepts and the next two puts developed them and put them into proactive.
Business Insight
I had a several people who I was put in contact with to ask my questions. I was able to find lots our about the business and the potential roles available.
Culture
As the internship was online I had worried that I would not get to understand the atmosphere of the company. This was not the case, lots of talks where arranged and I was able to speak to lots of people. I have a much better understanding of their values and how these are incorporated into the workplace.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight event. I was able to take on more responsibility than I expected. I really enjoyed how many different people I was able to speak to.
Yes
Prepare for the assessments and do your research on the company before the interview. Think about why you would want to work at PwC and make sure this comes across.
