Overview
The morning were focused on learning about EY as a company and the afternoons were working on the case study as a team.
Skills
I have learnt a lot about audit and EY, the internship has also helped developed soft skills. For example, communicating within a team.
Business Insight
There was a large range of speakers and mentors so I got to asked loads of questions. I learnt a lot about different career paths in the business.
Culture
EY has the best work culture I have seen. There is a large focus on personal development so it is very supportive.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed learning about the company, I would have preferred some more time learning about audit in particular but it was interesting learning about different career paths.
Yes
Learn as much as you can about the company and really develop soft skills to a high standard. Communication is so valuable, technical knowledge is good but not necessary to get started as you learn as you go.
