Overview
In the morning we were welcomed by Hannah Jones and had various client sessions, service line learning amongst other insightful activities. The afternoon sessions were more interactive and involved case study work with the office in which you applied to. The internship was very well organised and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Skills
I have learned to improve my presentation and general interpersonal skills through the case study task. I have improved my timekeeping skills by following the agenda and making sure i arrived on time etc. I improved my listening skills as the internship took place virtually so required the ability to stay focused as well as take in lots of information.
Business Insight
It was very insightful and interesting to know the various roles/career pathways available at EY. I enjoyed how people oriented EY is as a business and it was clear that all the partners understood the corporate culture and so did junior/senior members of staff.
Culture
Very people oriented and the atmosphere was very friendly/welcoming
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed it and would love to join EY should i be successful in my interview.
Yes
Focus on describing yourself as people-orientated, that you have strong numerical skills, good communication skills and have the ability to analyse.
