Overview
We had a mixture of online training, networking sessions and assessments, for example a presentation and an interview.
Skills
I have developed my teamworking skills and learnt a lot more about audit through the training. I also developed my ability to network.
Business Insight
It was fascinating - BDO employees were open about the advantages and disadvantages and highlighted the importance of our personal aspirations and requirements in the decision to choose BDO.
Culture
BDO's culture was open. The coordinator from Early-In Careers, Egil was fantastic and made sure I felt supported at every step. I always knew what was expected of me and that I could ask questions if I needed to.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight - the people were on my wavelength and BDO offered a lot of value for my time.
Yes
I would recommend reading up on BDO's culture and considering why it is that you chose them and not another accounting firm. This is something they definitely want you to have reflected on.
