Overview
There were plenty of presentations about the firm and opportunities to talk to buddies who currently work in the stream for which you applied. There were workshops on personal branding and wellbeing There was a group project to create a presentation which was assessed. There was also an interview with a partner or director for the apprenticeship or graduate scheme depending on where you are in your education journey.
Skills
I have developed teamwork, negotiation and compromise throughout the group project. New skills are more technical in terms of what we learnt in the workshop about audit or tax depending on what stream you applied for, as well as techniques from the personal branding workshop.
Business Insight
It was very interesting talking to the current employees to fully understand the culture and the work at the firm.
