Overview
Attending development/learning sessions as well as business speaker events with fellow interns, engaging in a team-led CSR project and division-specific business project. Complete placement work 2 days a week relevant to your division - involves a mixture of shadowing meetings, writing research reports, contributing to team projects.

Expanding proficiency in written and verbal communication, develop leadership and team-working skills through CSR and business projects, enhance co-creation and collaborative thinking
Responsibilities
Yes - from the first day of placement I was given the responsibility to conduct research and write up a report to be used as a learning tool for relationship managers and front-line staff in the bank
Support & Guidance
Very close support provided from your graduate buddy prior to and throughout the internship, as well as clear step-by-step guidance from your line manager for work specific to your placement
Culture
Highly inclusive, purpose-led and people-oriented - this created a working environment that helped foster collaborative exchange whilst also promoting continuous learning and reflection for personal development
Your Impressions
Thoroughly enjoyed my time on the internship, the varied structure of each week ensures that there is an interesting blend of both industry-specific placement work which focuses on the development of technical skills, as well as more creative and team-led work with other interns through CSR/business projects. Social opportunities provided by several graduate councils offers great networking opportunities with fellow interns, graduates and members of staff bank-wide.
