Overview
3 days a week: Attend business wide sessions on confidence, core values etc. 2 days a week: On placement, assist and shadow a division to see what they get up to on a daily basis. Throughout, we were encouraged to network across the bank over Zoom.
Skills
Learnt an incredible amount about loans, bonds and credit Improved networking skills by practising
Responsibilities
A reasonable amount, definitely harder to quantify or compare to others due to virtual environment.
Support & Guidance
Lots! Support from graduate buddy as well as everyone throughout the bank. Lots of opportunities to get to know people who were always more than happy to support me.
Culture
Very impressive. Contrary to my expectations about banking everyone was very friendly and happy to put aside time to chat about their job/ NatWest in general
