Overview
The first day was an introduction and then a social event. The next day involved working with a team at Dentons. The third day also involved working with a team but it was a different team. The final day involved participating in a group exercise.
Skills
Yes, I now have a better understanding of what a commercial solicitor does. I also have learned some research skills, improved my attention to detail through a proof reading exercise, improved my team working skills and finally I have also improved my networking skills.
Business Insight
Very enjoyable. There are a whole host of potential roles at Dentons and the business itself is extremely interesting given its international presence.
Culture
Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. I always felt supported.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the virtual experience. Of course it doesn’t quite compare to a non-virtual experience but there was still plenty of opportunity for networking and asking questions.
Yes
Be authentically yourself and relax, everyone is friendly and understands that assessment centres etc can be stressful.
