Overview
The great thing about my role is that it changes from day-to-day. I am in charge of reading scripts and assessing if they are good enough to consider for TV development. Alongside this I also get to join development meetings, creative talks, and much more.
Skills
I have learnt and developed so many new skills here. I now know how to confidently run meetings with agents and writers; I can put together a pitch deck; proof read scripts; write coverage on scripts; pitch ideas in meetings; give coherent presentations and that isn't even the half of it!
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility. I loved it! As the first Scripted Development Intern at NBCUniversal the role was really what I made of it!
Support & Guidance
I received a great deal of support, my managers were incredibly caring and looked out for my well being. My peers and colleagues did the same.
Culture
The company culture is very friendly. Even though I was working from home they quickly became family.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my internship more than anything I have done in the industry so far!
