Overview
Work within the Automation Centre for Excellence team to automate processes and flows for the wider finance team. We work with softwares such as PowerBI and PowerApps to take manual processes which can become quite time consuming and automate them t make them easier to utilise saving employees vital time.
Skills
Learnt many new skills such as communication skills, Software skills such as using MicroSoft PowerBI, PowerApps and PowerQuery
Responsibilities
I was given two projects to work on completely on my own. Was given a great amount of responsibility from the beginning, had to set up my own meetings with individuals to gain insight on my project and work with them.
Support & Guidance
I was always given assistance and support when needed. Whenever I have asked someone for help they have been more than happy to do this.
Culture
Everyone is very friendly and open to helping you. The culture is great with plenty of clubs running throughout the company and great chances to get involved.
Your Impressions
I am enjoying my internship, however sometimes am left feeling complacent when waiting on people to reply to messages if its asking for next steps on the project or something else to do etc.
