Overview
Our internship was mostly project-based with useful talks inserted into the week. The project based work ensured you didn't feel isolated in the work from home experience. I believe this worked effectively, as I met people from across the internship as well as in the company.
Skills
I have developed my teamworking skills, time-management, organisation and communication skills overall. In the industry, I have learnt a lot about the net zero goals and what companies have to do to move towards them.
Business Insight
They gave us multiple talks about future roles and different areas around the business. In addition to this, they gave us many talks about sustainability in general, as well as how it affects the business.
Culture
The atmosphere was great! We had talks from all the networks across the business, which made me feel included and comfortable in the atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the work thoroughly as working in a team allowed me to work with people on a daily basis and not feel isolated. It did meet my expectations, but also exceeded them as there was more interactivity than I initially believed.
