Overview
The daily structure involved a mixture of two days which involved site visits and the rest of the days were spent in the office. The days spent in the office consisted of valuation work such as finding comparables for properties, learning how to do appraisals, report writing and listening in on a couple of team meetings. I was also shown how to use different sites like Savills Maps, etc.
Skills
How to find information for comparables. What is involved in site visits. How to use Argus.
Business Insight
It was very interesting and eye opening as I could put my university knowledge into practice. By enabling this it showed me what I am really interest in perusing as a career.
Culture
Friendly and helpful people, office was a bit quiet but apart from that it was nice.
