Overview
The Summer Scheme involved joining a team for 2 weeks and getting stuck into their current deals. Each day would also include a networking opportunity or departmental overview to give an insight to what other departments look like.
Skills
I've certainly development my Excel skills, a lot of research will require quick and neat Excel skills. I've learnt how to deal with work overload and taking on multiple projects at once. I have developed greater confidence by being in the office and working with the team which has only expanded my knowledge.
Business Insight
It was really interesting and made really clear to us interns. We would have daily meeting with various departments and if we wanted to discuss or meet someone from another department we were immediately introduced to a Grad in that department.
Culture
Brilliant, everyone is like-minded and very friendly
